a parachute jump

feeling is a single letter plummeting

into sentences by ee cummings

floating waving landing to release

a dust cloud with no capitals

no semi colon and no full stop

  3. I like this one even thought I don't like the feeling of falling at all. And ee cummings poetry is like floating, waving, landing. Will have to take your word for it that the two are so very alike.

  7. I could see the dust cloud - wonderful imagery and only using letters, those decipherable symbols that can mean so much, or nothing at all.

  8. Ooh! John. So good. BTW, have I mentioned that e.e. Cummings is my favorite? Thanks for the send-up. How do you feel about 10,0000 Maniacs' song that really uses the rhythm of the "beat" generation in it's song, "Hey, Jack Karouac"? Would love to hear your thoughts. http://www.lyricsdomain.com/27/10000_maniacs/hey_jack_kerouac.html (Lyrics, so you can understand what the heck Natalie Merchant is saying LOL!) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJLyWomZNq8 (Youtube performance)
